Case Concepts has extensive experience working with customers in Europe, Asia and the Americas, and achieves reduced logistics costs for clients by negotiating time/volume contracts for container loads with major shipping carriers. In the situation of LCL cargo, cases are delivered directly to the freight forwarder and transportation is arranged through a consolidation to the final destination, which also leads to cost savings.
When requested, Case Concepts handles all of the communication with the freight forwarders, customs agencies and domestic carriers to insure that deliveries are on time. Upon Customs clearance, the freight is moved either to the final ship-to address or to a warehouse facility where it is held for weekly or monthly distributions.
A vendor managed inventory program facilitates distribution and creates a "JIT environment". An annual purchase order would be issued to secure product availability and through weekly MRP reports, Case Concepts coordinates production, warehousing and delivery.
If a client decides to use their own freight forwarder, Case Concepts will arrange for the shipment to be delivered to the appointed facility. All documentation will be forwarded by the Logistics Department.
